A Superb Pair Of German Percussion Salon Pistols

Circa mid-late 19th Century. Near mint condition. Made in the French style. 10 inch rifled barrels w/100% of original shiny dark blue finish; some very minor scattered age spotting. Raised decorative silver inlays throughout. Hammer, t.g., sideplate and butt plate case hardened, with mostly bright colors showing through. Foliate raised carved ebony stocks. Gold and silver bands at breech, double silver bands at muzzle. Pistols numbered “1” & “2” in gold numerals. About .38 caliber. Green wool felt-lined rosewood and varnished case. Complete with accessories, all in excellent-mint condition. German proof marks on top flat of barrels. Adjustable trigger pull. Marked in stocks, under barrels S.T. HEYM, JR./SUHL.
